SCRIPTURE: "...the LORD said to Hosea, 'Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry;' " (Hosea 1:2)

OBSERVATION: Here we read, that the LORD, our LORD, tells his prophet Hosea to:
Go
&
take a wife
a wife of
HARLOTRY
&
HAVE CHILDREN WITH HER

DID YOU READ WHAT I JUST READ???????

APPLICATION: When I read this
My first thought was:
Do WHAT?

My second thought was:
Would I obey God if He told me to do that?

What about you?

Has God told you to do something that seems very hard from your perspective?

Remember God knows what He's doing
