Which Way Do I Go?

TOPIC: Shortcut ?

SCRIPTURE: "There is a way which seems right to a man, BUT its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 14:12)

OBSERVATION: The "path...that seems right" may offer many options and require fewer sacrifices BUT if it is NOT THE RIGHT path you will inevitably lose something.

APPLICATION: Ever taken a short cut, to only live to regret it. I know I have and I'm not just referring to taking the wrong street. In life, we are faced with shortcuts ALL the time. The questions is, is it THE RIGHT path.

The right path often requires:
hard work
&
self-sacrifice.

I came across a short poem that provides a great reminder to us all, it goes like this:

Are you sure that you are right?

How fine and strong?

BUT

Were you ever, just as ever sure, and wrong?

So

make sure

you take
