SCRIPTURE: "O sing to the LORD a new song..." (Ps.98:1a)

OBSERVATION: The theme of this psalm is a song of joy and victory. Because God is victorious over all and all those who follow Him will be victorious with Him

APPLICATION: As I was reading today I couldn't help but use this verse for my blog. Because as I was driving into work this morning, I heard a new song on the radio that so impacted me, that I took a quote from the song and placed it on the wall in my office.

When I heard this new song "God of This City" by Chris Tomlin I couldn't help but think about a quote I heard from John Maxwell.

I once heard John Maxwell say, that as a young leader he wanted to make a difference, but he soon discovered that not everyone wanted to make a difference. So he added this to his statement, 'I want to make a difference with people who want to make a difference'. As he got older he continued to add to this statement. At 60 his statement is...
"I want to make a difference with people who want to make a difference doing something that will make a difference in the time that will make the most difference."
