SCRIPTURE: "Where there is no guidance the people fall, BUT in abundance of counselors there is victory." (Proverbs 11:14)
OBSERVATION: Great leaders draw on the wise counsel of others around them.
APPLICATION: As a result of our reading plan taking us through the book of Proverbs, my mind has been continually revisiting a book I read not too long ago, The Best Question Ever. The thing that came to my mind as I read over this verse was not about The Best Question Ever that the book is all about BUT about the 2nd Best Questions Ever that the book touches on.
In order to not leave you hanging I will go ahead and share with you the best question ever in light of the fact that it is so similar to the 2nd best question ever.
The Best Question Ever is = In light of your past experiences, your current responsibilities and your future hopes and dreams, what is the wise thing to do regarding the situation you find yourself in?
The 2nd Best Question Ever is = In light of your past experiences, your current responsibilities and your future hopes and dreams, WHAT DO YOU THINK the wise thing is for me to do regarding the situation I find myself in?
You
YES YOU
Need to give the right people (People who love you BUT don't need you)
an ALL-ACCESS PASS to
EVERY major decision you make.
REMEMBER: The wisest man in the world said more about wise counsel than anyone else in the Scriptures.
1 Decision Away
Yes we are only 1 decision away from sacrificing our integrity, which leads to loss of credibility, which undermines our influence.
So if you haven't been already
