Broken Yours?

TOPIC: TRUST

SCRIPTURE:"Did I not make you swear by the LORD and solemnly warn you, saying, 'You will know for certain that on the day you depart and go anywhere, you shall surely die'?" (I Kings 2:42)

OBSERVATION: Shimei gave his word to King Solomon however 3 years later circumstances arose in Shimei life that he considered to be an exception to the rule. Thus through his actions he broke his word to King Solomon resulting in his death

APPLICATION: The Bible says let your YES be YES and your NO be NO
When you give your word you swear to your own hurt.

Have you told someone that you would do something?
